About: The purpose of this study is to better understand the role of past experiences of trauma in opioid use. We will use this information will help healthcare professionals better detect and treat opioid misuse.

Who: Adults (18+) who have experienced a traumatic event at some point in their lifetime and have used opioids (e.g., heroin, prescription pain pills, fentanyl) in the past 30 days

Time Involved:
Two visits and 30 days of daily surveys on a phone app

Study Requirements:
During interviews and daily surveys, participants will answer questions about their past trauma experiences, use of opioids as well as other drugs and alcohol, symptoms, and emotions
