Katharine Walter is a postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Stanford University. She is interested in designing and applying evolutionary tools to unearth the rich epidemiological information contained in pathogen genomes with the goal of informing public health interventions. Her focus is on M. tuberculosis and RNA viruses.
